FUNCTION and INDICATIONS

ADVERSE REACTION

PHARMACOLOGIC ACTION
Can improve the brain tissue on the excitement of neurotransmitter glutamate and inhibitory neurotransmitter γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) permeability, protect and improve the physiological function of the brain and enhance glutamic acid decarboxylase (GAD) activity , GABA synthesis increased, and increase its receptor activity, promoting sedation and hypnosis. Mouse experiments show that the synergistic effect of pentobarbital significantly reduced the duration of sleep induction, increased central sedation and antagonism of the brain dopamine nervous system abnormal excitement, so as to maintain normal motor function and mental activity, treate both symptoms and root causes .
