PHARMACOLOGIC ACTION
Modern pharmacological studies have shown that Stringy Stonecrop Herb contains racemic methyl iso-panacol, dihydroisophorapidin, octoperiside, β-sitosterol, mannitol and amino acids, and glucose, fructose and sedum glycosides. Among them, the triterpenoids in Stringy Stonecrop Herb with hepatoprotective activity, and some of the glycosides are considered as anti-hepatitis active ingredients.
